Responsibilities
- Manage Daily Transactions: Accurately process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts nightly to ensure accuracy.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and post journal entries for the night shift close.
- Invoice Processing: Review and process invoices, ensuring all documentation is complete.
- Compliance: Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Communication: Collaborate with day-shift staff to resolve discrepancies and ensure a seamless transition.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Education: Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience.
- Software: Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to spot errors and manage complex data.
- Availability: Must be available to work night shifts (7:00 PM - 4:00 AM).
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
