Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including processing accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform accurate bank reconciliations and prepare financial statements for management review.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures to ensure compliance with GAAP.
- Process and verify invoices, expense reports, and payroll entries.
- Maintain organized digital and physical financial records.
- Communicate effectively with external clients and internal departments during night hours.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- 2+ years of professional bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot discrepancies.
- Must be available to work night shifts (e.g., 8:00 PM - 5:00 AM).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
