Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and reconcile bank statements nightly
- Process payroll and ensure accurate tax filings
- Maintain detailed financial records using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare monthly financial reports and variance analyses
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Collaborate with auditors during evening engagements
- Implement internal controls to ensure financial compliance
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 3+ years of bookkeeping experience with night shift preference
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and MS Excel
- Strong understanding of GAAP and DC tax regulations
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) designation preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
