Responsibilities
- Maintain and update accurate financial ledgers and journals during night shift hours
- Process high-volume accounts payable/receivable transactions with zero-error tolerance
- Perform bank reconciliations and variance analysis to ensure financial precision
- Generate month-end financial reports and supporting documentation for management review
- Ensure strict adherence to UK GAAP and internal accounting controls
- Collaborate with international teams during handover periods for seamless operations
- Utilize Xero/QuickBooks to automate and optimize accounting workflows
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years' experience in bookkeeping or financial management
- AAT Level 3/4 certification or equivalent accounting qualification
- Expert proficiency in Xero, QuickBooks, and advanced Excel functions
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Exceptional attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Strong understanding of UK tax regulations and compliance requirements
- Previous night shift experience in finance/accounting preferred
