Responsibilities
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes and financial reporting.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts with internal records.
- Process and verify accounts payable and accounts receivable invoices.
- Maintain accurate and organized digital and physical filing systems for financial documents.
- Support the senior accounting team with data entry and general ledger tasks.
- Prepare basic financial spreadsheets and assist in budget preparation.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial data.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data processing.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and GAAP (CPA candidates are encouraged to apply).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
