Responsibilities
- Review, code, and process high-volume invoices accurately and timely.
- Verify invoice data against purchase orders, receiving reports, and contracts.
- Resolve billing discrepancies and answer vendor inquiries professionally.
- Perform month-end and year-end closing tasks as assigned.
- Reconcile vendor statements and maintain the AP master file.
- Assist with the implementation of process improvements for the AP department.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable experience in Accounts Payable.
- Must be available to work the night shift (6:00 PM - 2:00 AM).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookups) a plus.
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite).
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to detect errors.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
