Responsibilities
- Process and verify invoices for accuracy, completeness, and authorization.
- Match purchase orders, receiving reports, and invoices to ensure proper payment terms.
- Resolve vendor inquiries regarding invoice discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Prepare and issue payments via check, electronic transfer, or ACH.
- Maintain accurate records and reconcile accounts payable subsidiary ledgers.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Accounts Payable.
- Proficiency in accounting software (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or QuickBooks).
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently during the night shift without direct supervision.
