Responsibilities
- Financial Integrity: Perform high-accuracy daily reconciliation of bank statements, credit cards, and general ledger accounts.
- Night Audit: Conduct thorough audits of all night-shift financial transactions to ensure compliance with internal policies.
- Reporting: Generate and distribute nightly financial statements to senior management for review.
- AP/AR Management: Process accounts payable and receivable entries with strict attention to detail.
- Data Analysis: Identify discrepancies in financial data and implement corrective measures.
- Compliance: Maintain accurate records for tax preparation and regulatory reporting.
- Collaboration: Liaise with day-shift teams to resolve outstanding issues and ensure smooth workflow transitions.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
- Certification: CPA, CMA, or EA certification is preferred but not required for experienced candidates.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in general ledger accounting.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software (SAP, QuickBooks, or NetSuite).
- Availability: Must be willing and able to work rotating night shifts (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Attributes: Strong analytical skills, high attention to detail, and exceptional time management.
