Responsibilities
- Manage general ledger accounts, including accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
- Process payroll accurately and ensure all payroll tax filings are completed on time.
- Conduct regular bank reconciliations and variance analysis to identify trends or discrepancies.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and support external audits.
- Collaborate with department heads to provide financial insights and support budgeting processes.
- Maintain and update internal financial policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA designation preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
