Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring all invoices are processed accurately and on time.
- Perform bank reconciliations and prepare monthly financial statements to assist in management reporting.
- Maintain and organize the general ledger, including journal entries and adjusting entries.
- Process payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy and timely disbursement.
- Assist with annual audits and tax preparations by providing necessary documentation and schedules.
- Reconcile credit card statements and monitor expenses to ensure budget compliance.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related accounting role.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop or Online and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and general accounting practices.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to detect errors and discrepancies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
