As the Night Shift Accountant, you will play a critical role in maintaining the financial integrity of our operations during off-hours. If you are detail-oriented and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and receivable reconciliation processes.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and variance analysis.
- Perform routine bank reconciliations and ensure accurate posting of journal entries.
- Maintain and organize financial records, ledgers, and supporting documentation.
- Collaborate with the day-shift team to resolve discrepancies and ensure seamless transitions.
- Support internal and external audits by providing requested documentation.
- Process payroll adjustments and maintain compliance with federal and state regulations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in general accounting or a related financial role.
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or NetSuite).
- Must be available to work the night shift (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM) consistently.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
