Responsibilities
- Oversee and execute end-of-day and end-of-month financial reconciliations with 100% accuracy.
- Process high-volume accounts payable and receivable transactions during off-peak hours.
- Generate and analyze nightly financial reports to ensure data integrity.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements for management review.
- Perform variance analysis and audit trail reviews for all night-shift financial activities.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, including tax filings.
- Collaborate with the day-shift finance team to ensure a seamless handover of financial data.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a night shift or remote environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, general ledger functions, and financial reporting.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
