Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including accurate processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Process weekly payroll accurately and on time for all employees.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly to ensure data integrity.
- Prepare monthly financial reports, balance sheets, and income statements.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date digital and physical financial records.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding billing inquiries and financial status.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- 2+ years of proven experience in bookkeeping or general accounting.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage accounting software.
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP and basic tax regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Must be available to work weekend shifts (Saturday/Sunday).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
