In this role, you will work closely with our senior accounting team to ensure the accuracy of financial records, assist with month-end close processes, and gain hands-on experience with modern accounting software.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and posting of daily journal entries and monthly financial statements.
- Perform bank reconciliations and credit card reconciliations to ensure data accuracy.
- Support the external audit process by gathering and organizing required documentation.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of accounts payable and receivable.
- Assist in budget preparation and variance analysis to support business decision-making.
- Monitor and process accounts receivable collections in a timely manner.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the finance department.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (or equivalent experience).
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Sage).
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced team setting.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
