Responsibilities
- Perform daily reconciliation of bank statements and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and within deadlines.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory accounting standards (GAAP).
- Audit financial documents for errors, discrepancies, and fraud prevention.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes efficiently.
- Utilize accounting software to track expenses, budgets, and payroll data.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in general ledger accounting or bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or SAP).
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and federal tax regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines in a night shift schedule.
- Excellent analytical skills and keen attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills preferred.
