The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records during off-peak hours, supporting the day team with critical reconciliations and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily reconciliation of bank accounts and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Process nightly journal entries and adjust accounts as necessary.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports and variance analysis.
- Conduct internal audits of financial data to ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies.
- Review and verify invoices, receipts, and expense reports for accuracy.
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes efficiently.
- Assist with payroll processing and tax document preparation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- CPA certification or active pursuit is a strong plus.
- Proven experience in general accounting and financial reporting.
- Must be available to work the night shift (5 days a week).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical skills with a high degree of attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
