Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end accounts payable and accounts receivable processes with a focus on accuracy and speed.
- Prepare and post nightly journal entries, bank reconciliations, and general ledger adjustments.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end close process, ensuring all financial reports are generated accurately.
- Review and verify invoices, expense reports, and contracts for compliance with company policies and GAAP standards.
- Communicate with internal departments and external vendors to resolve billing discrepancies and payment issues.
- Maintain and organize financial documentation, ensuring data integrity for audits.
- Utilize financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle) to generate financial reports and dashboards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a high-volume environment.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) is mandatory.
- Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or ERP systems) is highly preferred.
- Must be available to work a night shift schedule (e.g., 6:00 PM - 2:00 AM or 7:00 PM - 3:00 AM).
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during night operations.
