Responsibilities
- Perform daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable reconciliation.
- Process high-volume invoices and ensure accurate coding and posting to the general ledger.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports and variance analyses.
- Conduct internal audits and review financial documents for accuracy and compliance with internal policies.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a nightly basis.
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes with timely and detailed deliverables.
- Communicate effectively with the day shift team and management regarding discrepancies or urgent financial matters.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in general accounting or bookkeeping.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, or NetSuite).
- Ability to work independently and maintain high accuracy under tight deadlines.
- Must be available to work the night shift (e.g., 5:00 PM - 2:00 AM).
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
