Responsibilities
- Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reconciliations with high accuracy.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions, ensuring timely payments and accurate invoicing.
- Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP and internal policies.
- Assist in the coordination of internal and external financial audits.
- Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings.
- Maintain and update the general ledger system, including journal entries and accruals.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local tax regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA designation preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a night shift or high-volume environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel (Advanced functions).
- Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently in a self-directed night shift environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
