Responsibilities
- Process multi-state payroll accurately and on schedule for 200+ employees
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations and reporting requirements
- Manage employee timesheets, deductions, benefits, and garnishments
- Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly
- Prepare and distribute year-end tax forms (W-2s, 1099s)
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries with exceptional service
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams on payroll system optimization
- Maintain confidential payroll records with strict data security protocols
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on payroll processing experience
- Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now or similar payroll platforms
- Deep understanding of multi-state tax laws (CA, NV, AZ)
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) certification preferred
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP and pivot tables
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
