Responsibilities
- General Ledger Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger entries and ensure all financial transactions are recorded correctly.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process invoices, manage vendor payments, and ensure timely collection of receivables.
- Reconciliation: Perform daily bank reconciliations and reconcile credit card statements to ensure accuracy.
- Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements and reports for management review.
- Compliance: Ensure all accounting practices comply with federal and state regulations and internal company policies.
- System Maintenance: Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) to update financial records and generate necessary reports.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in general accounting or finance.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel is a must) and accounting software platforms.
- Schedule: Must be available to work the night shift (e.g., 5:00 PM – 2:00 AM) on a full-time basis.
- Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify discrepancies and resolve issues efficiently.
- Certifications: CPA or CMA certification is a plus but not required.
