What You Will Do:
As a Senior Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the integrity of our financial records. You will work closely with the CFO and department heads to ensure accurate financial analysis and tax compliance.
Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end general ledger accounting and reconciliation processes.
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions to ensure timely processing.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Conduct internal audits and identify areas for process improvement and cost reduction.
- Collaborate with external auditors during the annual audit cycle.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA or CMA certification is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
