Responsibilities
- Oversee daily general ledger operations and ensure accurate financial recording.
- Prepare comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
- Conduct variance analysis between actuals and budgets to drive strategic decision-making.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.
- Assist in the preparation of federal and state tax filings and quarterly tax estimates.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and internal controls.
- Provide ad-hoc financial reporting and analysis to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or CMA certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and tax compliance regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed work environment.
