Responsibilities
- Perform daily accounts payable and accounts receivable processing, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to identify discrepancies and resolve them promptly.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
- Process payroll for night shift employees, verifying time sheets and tax deductions.
- Maintain the general ledger, including journal entries and adjusting entries.
- Collaborate with the day-shift finance team to ensure seamless handover of financial data.
- Support internal and external audits by providing requested documentation and analysis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred but not required).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in general ledger accounting or a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) and accounting software (SAP, QuickBooks, or Oracle).
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to detect errors in data analysis.
- Must be available to work a consistent night shift schedule (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM or similar).
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
