Responsibilities
- Assist with daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger entries and financial documents.
- Support the month-end close process by compiling data and assisting in report generation.
- Respond to inquiries from internal teams and external vendors regarding account status.
- Perform data entry and maintain an organized filing system for financial records.
- Learn and utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) under supervision.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles is a plus but not required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new financial systems and processes.
