Responsibilities
- Process Accounts Payable and Receivable: Accurately enter invoices, process payments, and manage customer billing cycles.
- Assist with Month-End Close: Support the closing process by preparing trial balances, reconciling accounts, and ensuring accuracy in financial reports.
- Bank Reconciliation: Regularly reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure data integrity.
- Maintain Financial Records: Organize and maintain accurate digital and physical files for all financial transactions.
- Prepare Basic Reports: Generate standard financial statements and assist in the preparation of tax schedules under supervision.
- Assist in Audits: Provide necessary documentation and support to external auditors during annual reviews.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (recent graduates welcome).
- Skills: Basic understanding of accounting principles (GAAP) and general ledger functions.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to spot discrepancies and maintain high data accuracy.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor.
- Work Ethic: Self-motivated, eager to learn, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
