Responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP standards.
- Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly to maintain cash flow integrity.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and ensure all regulatory filings are completed on time.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and prepare adjusting entries as necessary.
- Collaborate with management to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
- Maintain and organize financial records, ensuring data security and accessibility.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounting, with a strong preference for candidates available for weekend shifts.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and internal controls.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
