Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and maintain financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliations of bank accounts and general ledger accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of tax documents and ensure timely filing of local, state, and federal taxes.
- Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve financial reporting processes and efficiency.
- Assist in budget preparation and forecasting for departmental projects.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in accounting or finance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA certification is a plus).
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions).
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
