Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Process payroll, tax filings, and compliance documentation
- Implement and optimize accounting software workflows (QuickBooks, Xero)
- Support audits by maintaining organized financial documentation
- Collaborate with CFOs on budget forecasting and financial modeling
- Train junior staff on bookkeeping best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent certification (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive bookkeeping experience with multi-entity portfolios
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems
- Expertise in GAAP compliance and financial regulations
- Proven track record in month-end closing and reconciliation
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor designation
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to microscopic detail
