Responsibilities
- Manage daily general ledger entries and reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions with a high degree of accuracy.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and year-end audits and tax documentation.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local financial regulations and company policies.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all financial documents.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 2+ years of experience in general ledger accounting or bookkeeping.
- Mandatory: Must be available to work the Night Shift (typically 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM or 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero preferred).
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
