Responsibilities
- Execute accurate month-end closing procedures during weekend shifts
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger entries
- Prepare financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Manage accounts payable/receivable processes with weekend deadlines
- Ensure compliance with SOX controls and internal audit requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial initiatives
- Implement process improvements for weekend accounting workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 3+ years of professional accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Strong understanding of GAAP and weekend accounting cycles
- CPA or CPA candidate preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts (Sat/Sun)
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) highly desirable
