Apex Financial Solutions is currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Night Shift Accountant to join our growing finance team in Colorado Springs, CO. We are looking for a reliable professional who can maintain the integrity of our financial operations during the overnight hours.

Responsibilities
- Perform daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and receivable processing.
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Process payroll entries and assist with month-end and year-end close procedures.
- Generate financial reports and variance analysis for management review.
- Prepare and maintain ledgers, journals, and other accounting records.
- Assist in internal audits and compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) to track financial data.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in general accounting or bookkeeping.
- Must be available to work the night shift (typically 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or SAP is a plus).
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
