Responsibilities
- Financial Reconciliation: Perform daily reconciliation of bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Accounts Payable/Receivable: Process and verify invoices, manage vendor payments, and ensure all documentation complies with internal controls.
- Reporting: Generate accurate financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, on a nightly basis.
- Compliance: Ensure all accounting activities adhere to GAAP standards and company internal policies.
- Month-End Close: Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and accruals.
- Data Analysis: Analyze financial discrepancies and resolve complex accounting issues with minimal supervision.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in general accounting or a similar role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or NetSuite).
- Availability: Must be available to work the Night Shift (e.g., 5:00 PM - 2:00 AM or 6:00 PM - 3:00 AM).
- Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills with a proven track record of minimizing errors.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
