Responsibilities
- Perform daily reconciliation of general ledger accounts and bank statements to ensure accuracy.
- Process night-cycle accounts payable invoices and accounts receivable collections.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and analysis.
- Maintain accurate and organized digital and physical financial records and archives.
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes by providing timely data.
- Conduct variance analysis and assist in internal audit preparations.
- Review and approve journal entries within the established accounting software.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-4 years of accounting experience, preferably in a night shift or similar environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA certification preferred).
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Exceptional attention to detail and high accuracy standards.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet strict deadlines.
- Reliable transportation for night shift commute.
