Responsibilities
- Perform daily reconciliations of bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger accounts
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements including balance sheets and income statements
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions during night shift hours
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal financial controls
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve financial discrepancies
- Support external audit processes and documentation requests
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3+ years of professional accounting experience
- Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle)
- Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during night shifts
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Relevant CPA or CMA certification preferred
