Responsibilities
- Execute month-end closing procedures with strict deadlines during night shift hours
- Process and reconcile high-volume transactions across multiple bank accounts
- Prepare detailed financial statements and management reports for executive review
- Conduct internal audits and compliance checks to ensure SOX/GAAP adherence
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on tax documentation and financial analysis
- Implement process improvements for night shift accounting workflows
- Maintain accurate financial records in ERP systems with zero tolerance for errors
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of night shift or after-hours accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel with macros
- Expert knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and Arizona tax regulations
- Proven ability to manage high-volume transactions under tight deadlines
- Exceptional attention to detail with 99.9% reconciliation accuracy
- Strong written communication skills for executive reporting
- Valid Arizona CPA license or actively pursuing certification
