Responsibilities
- Process and reconcile daily billing transactions across 15+ client accounts
- Resolve complex billing discrepancies through data analysis and stakeholder communication
- Optimize revenue cycles by implementing process improvements
- Generate monthly financial reports for executive leadership
- Collaborate with collections department on aging accounts receivable
- Train 2-3 junior billing specialists annually
- Maintain HIPAA-compliant documentation standards
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical or commercial billing experience
- Proficiency in Epic, Cerner, or similar EHR systems
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) credential preferred
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP and pivot tables
- Proven track record of reducing AR days by 15%+
- Exceptional attention to detail with zero-error tolerance
