Responsibilities
- Perform daily/month-end general ledger reconciliations across bank accounts, credit cards, and sub-ledgers
- Process and reconcile complex journal entries including accruals, prepaids, and intercompany transactions
- Assist with financial reporting preparation including balance sheets, income statements, and variance analysis
- Support internal/external audits by providing documentation and responding to inquiries
- Monitor cash positions and execute wire transfers within compliance guidelines
- Collaborate with AP/AR teams to resolve discrepancies and process high-volume transactions
- Maintain strict confidentiality of financial data while adhering to SOX controls
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience with night shift exposure
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions)
- Deep understanding of GAAP principles and month-end closing procedures
- Exceptional attention to detail with proven reconciliations experience
- Strong analytical skills for variance identification and resolution
- Ability to work independently during night hours with minimal supervision
- Excellent written/verbal communication for cross-departmental collaboration
