Responsibilities
- Perform month-end and quarter-end reconciliations across bank accounts, general ledger, and subsidiary ledgers
- Prepare financial statements and variance analysis for executive review
- Manage accounts payable/receivable processing and collections
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal financial controls
- Assist with audits by providing documentation and support
- Utilize ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) for transaction processing
- Generate ad-hoc financial reports for department heads
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks/SAP)
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proven experience with month-end close processes
