Responsibilities
- Manage the daily processing of financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely posting.
- Perform month-end and year-end close procedures during the designated night cycle.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare financial reports, variance analysis, and journal entries for leadership review.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings and audit schedules.
- Maintain compliance with internal control policies and GAAP standards.
- Collaborate with the day shift team to ensure seamless handover of financial data.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in general accounting or bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite) and ERP systems.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Must be available and willing to work a night shift schedule (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
