Responsibilities
- Process and reconcile daily financial transactions including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Conduct internal audits and ensure SOX compliance across all financial processes
- Collaborate with tax department to support quarterly filings and year-end audits
- Manage bank reconciliations and cash flow forecasting for 24/7 operations
- Lead month-end closing procedures during night shift hours
- Implement process improvements using ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience with night shift exposure
- Expert proficiency in GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions
- ERP system experience (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently during night shift hours (6 PM - 2 AM)
- Proven experience in process improvement initiatives
