Responsibilities
- Execute daily financial reconciliations and manage general ledger entries with high accuracy.
- Process payroll and oversee accounts payable and receivable cycles to ensure timely payments.
- Generate comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review.
- Maintain strict adherence to internal controls and federal accounting standards.
- Assist in the preparation of year-end audits and tax documentation.
- Review and verify the accuracy of all financial data entered into the system.
- Communicate financial discrepancies and propose solutions to the finance team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Accountant or Bookkeeper (1-3 years preferred).
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero) and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently during night shifts.
- Knowledge of GAAP and financial regulations is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
