Responsibilities
- Perform month-end closing procedures and reconcile general ledger accounts
- Prepare and analyze financial statements including balance sheets and income statements
- Process accounts payable/receivable transactions and ensure timely payment cycles
- Assist with budget preparation and variance analysis for department heads
- Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations
- Collaborate with auditors during external financial reviews
- Maintain accurate financial records in ERP systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 3+ years of general ledger experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- CPA certification preferred (or actively pursuing)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance
- Excellent communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration
