Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end accounts payable/receivable processing
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis
- Oversee payroll processing and compliance with UK regulations
- Conduct month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Assist with internal audits and regulatory reporting
- Maintain accurate financial records using Sage 200
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent qualification
- ACCA/CIMA membership or significant progress toward certification
- Minimum 3 years' accounting experience in night shift environments
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting software
- Deep knowledge of UK GAAP and HMRC compliance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
