Responsibilities
- Manage weekend financial transactions and reconcile accounts
- Prepare weekly financial reports for senior management
- Process payroll and vendor payments on weekends
- Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations and internal controls
- Assist with quarterly VAT returns and tax documentation
- Support month-end closing procedures
- Maintain digital and physical financial records
Qualifications
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent experience
- Minimum 3 years UK accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting software (Sage/QuickBooks)
- Strong understanding of UK GAAP and tax regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
