Responsibilities
- Execute weekend financial transactions and bank reconciliations
- Process payroll and expense reports during weekend shifts
- Support month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Manage accounts payable/receivable for weekend operations
- Prepare weekend financial reports for senior management
- Ensure adherence to HMRC regulations and internal controls
- Assist with VAT returns and weekend tax filings
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- ACCA/CIMA part-qualified or equivalent experience
- 2+ years' accounting experience with weekend/shift work
- Advanced proficiency in Xero/QuickBooks and MS Excel
- Strong understanding of UK GAAP and tax regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work autonomously in weekend environment
