Responsibilities
- Manage weekend financial operations including journal entries and reconciliations
- Prepare and submit weekend financial reports for management review
- Process payroll and tax compliance tasks during weekend shifts
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks and Excel
- Collaborate with weekday team to ensure seamless financial workflows
- Support internal audits and compliance checks
- Respond to urgent financial inquiries during weekend operations
Qualifications
- ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified or equivalent accounting certification
- Minimum 3 years of UK-based accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Strong knowledge of UK tax regulations and GAAP standards
- Experience with weekend or shift-based financial roles preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills for cross-team collaboration
