Responsibilities
- Process and reconcile daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Maintain accurate general ledger records and ensure data integrity during the night cycle.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial accounts.
- Prepare and post journal entries for accruals, deferrals, and adjustments.
- Assist with the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Generate financial reports and assist with budget preparation.
- Communicate with internal teams regarding billing inquiries and payment status.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or Accountant, preferably with night shift or remote experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and strong MS Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic accounting principles.
- Ability to work independently with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Must be available to work the specified night shift hours.
