Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping tasks, including data entry, invoicing, and expense tracking.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly to ensure accuracy.
- Process accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) transactions efficiently.
- Assist with the preparation of monthly financial reports and trial balances.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for financial documents.
- Support the month-end close process by gathering necessary financial data.
- Identify discrepancies and resolve them in collaboration with the finance team.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred.
- 0-2 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a related administrative role (internships accepted).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or FreshBooks is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot errors and ensure data integrity.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional communication skills and a positive attitude.
