Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and budgets.
- Process invoices, receipts, and payroll entries with precision.
- Reconcile credit card statements and general ledger accounts.
- Communicate with vendors and clients regarding billing inquiries.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero) to input and organize financial data.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel is essential).
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting with minimal supervision.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Willingness to obtain professional certifications (e.g., NACPB, AIPB) within one year.
